Time Output Registry entry

Specify the format in which times will display in a client when retrieved from a database.

Usage

This Registry entry can be assigned to users, groups and system-wide:

format

is a series of special characters:

Character Description

HH

Hour - two digit 24 hour format with values ranging from 00-23

H

Hour - 24 hour format with values ranging from 0-23

hh

Hour - two digit 12 hour format with values ranging from 01-12

h

Hour - 12 hour format with values ranging from 1-12

m

Minute - values ranging from 0-59

mm

Minute - two digit values ranging from 00-59

M

Minute - displayed with a decimal component that represents the seconds as a fraction of a minute, e.g. 4 minutes, 15 seconds, displays as 4.25

MM

Minute - as for M, except that the minutes component is a two digit value, e.g. 04.25

s

Second - values ranging from 0-59

ss

Second - two digit values ranging from 00-59

t

Displays am or pm as appropriate.

Note: The format characters can be combined to create the desired date string, separated by any other character(s).

This setting will generate a time format of 18:43:
